This effort surveys the current status of research and practice in data mining and analytics techniques used in big data enviroments. The review has been published in an academic article and report as part of the Cloudberry initiative.

Automated Automotive Tests (AAT)

This project involves several research and development activities. The main aim of this project is to model and develop a simulator that would be able to capture and analyze data sent through various sensors within cars under testing. The data would be later mined in order to discover potential associations and other interesting knowledge that would aid in maintenance or modifications. Also, the data models we are developing should be able to recommend the types of tests needed for certain car manufacturers’ models.

My role was to provide expert consultation for the EU and GOE on the TVET’s project visibility and accessibility on World Wide Web. This process included developing an ontology based data structures, developing Intranet/Extranet systems, project website, and implementing data maintenance and publication-automation systems.
